Church of Thyatira

The Church of Thyatira receives a message in Revelation that holds commendation and warning together: its works, love, service, faith, and patience are recognized, yet its tolerance of a teaching associated with idolatry and sexual misconduct is condemned. The message calls the community to hold fast and promises authority to those who overcome.
